Throughout the years, CARIBE TECNO has assembled a stellar construction team, with decades of excellent performance and experience in a kaleidoscope of construction endeavors, including infrastructure projects, medical and health related facilities, rehabilitation of historic landmarks, and numerous institutional, residential and commercial buildings. Through more than four decades of history, since 1972, the firm has earned an undisputable reputation as one of the top, leading and foremost building construction firms in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.

CARIBE TECNO has built a portfolio of relevant projects worth ten figures of present l cumulative value. Not few of its works are recognized as landmarks in San Juan’s Skyline and are quite some others are officially recognized as heritage of Puerto Rico. Several of CARIBE TECNO’s projects have earned top national and international awards for design and building excellence while being featured in National and International publications.

CARIBE TECNO is one of Puerto Rico’s foremost construction companies which prides itself for its On budget / On time Performance both on public works and private ventures. This performance is a contractual commitment accomplished by the engagement of highly qualified licensed professionals and the continuous involvement of senior management and partners to assure fulfillment of every client’s goals.

With a nine figures, U.S. Dollars, bonding capacity CARIBE TECNO reflects financial strength and credit worthiness essential for tackling the most aggressive scheduling of any local construction program.  Within a few years span, projects worth several hundred million dollars were built by the firm.  Institutional projects with construction costs in excess of Thirty Million dollars include – The Puerto Rico Convention Center District ($35.1M), the St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital’s Professional Offices & Parking Building and the Cardiovascular & Acute Care Center ($38M), and the Manatí Medical Center Professional Offices and Parking Building ($33.3M). All work on the latter was accomplished thru a Design-Build process that started with a Master Plan and its approval by the Puerto Rico Planning Board.  Other major institutional projects with construction costs in excess of twenty million dollars each include the Sports and Recreation Department Headquarters and the COSVI and BanCoop Headquarters Building.

From the onset, whether it is hard bid, negotiated, design-build, or any other form of project delivery-contracting methods, CARIBE TECNO fosters the cooperation spirit necessary for Win-Win results on each and every project.

The track record of the company shows that every project has been delivered on, or ahead of schedule, including several instances of deliveries months ahead of schedule on seven and eight figures contracts for private and public projects, including projects funded by The United States government. Significantly, some of such experiences have occurred on projects in which the original work scope was substantially extended by owners.

On account of its record, CARIBE TECNO has been procured to deliver projects on negotiated contracts for both the Public and the Private Sector. Such negotiated basis projects include public projects as well as privately financed jobs for national and multinational enterprises. Furthermore, CARIBE TECNO has been commissioned eight figures Design-Build Projects on a negotiated basis, which attest to the mutual trust developed between owners, architects and the company’s professional staff and executives.
